9 Fresh Navratri outfit ideas to keep you looking trendy as you garba

Here are some outfit ideas to keep you looking stylish all throughout the dandiya season!

Think bright colours, dazzling lights, long nights, music along with synchronized and coordinated dancing! Yes the season of Navratri is here and if you have not made a decision on what you are going to wear, here are some outfit ideas that can help and keep you looking chic all through Navratri:
1. Give your jumpsuit a twist with a look like this. Shilpa Shetty picked a festive emerald green colour jumpsuit as the outfit and layered it with an embroidery and mirror work jacket with tassels all over the hem. The right jewellery can further accentuate the look.
2. Sometime lehengas and cholis can be a tad bit too fussy. But if you're looking for something just as breezy and something that has just as much movement, then try a printed maxi dress like this one. Cinch it at the waist to break the monotony. Pile on your favourite oxidized jewellery to make them look even more festive.
3. This outfit of Athiya Shetty is a super modern take on dressing for Navaratri. She is seen wearing an Arpita Mehta blouse, Hemant and Nandita Pants and Jacket along with Jimmy Choo Shoes and Tanishq Jewellery. It not desi but still has an ethnic charm to it.
4. This look by Aditi Rao Hydari is another great option for Navratri. She is seen wearing, a pair of palazzo pants with a heavily embroidered itsy-bitsy blouse and a cape layered over. This look is stylish and desi yet gives you enough movement to grove and dance the night away. A pair of Kholapuri chappals or juttis will be the icing on the cake for this look.
5. If you are going the lehenga choli route then try being a bit experimental with the blouse, like this blouse by Sonakshi.Try Sonakshi Sinha's criss-cross neckline blouse and wear your dupatta over your shoulder like a cape to finish the look.
6. Be innovative with the saree and give it a modish twist this Navratri, be it quirky drapes, a fun blouse or just the print or colour you pick, bring the saree back and show it some love.
7. For all the classic girls out there who still fret experimenting, a beautiful lehenga like this Anita Dongre number on Jhanvi Kapoor is a good pick.
8. Worried about a little tummy fat? Well, an outfit like this one can come to your recuse. Ditch the short cholis and pick an embroidered colourful top like this one. We love how it is paired with a subdued yet elegant tulle skirt.
9. For all the vibrant girls our there this flirty yellow lehenga with tassels on the hem of the blouse is perfect. Coincidentally, the colour of day 1 of Navratri is also yellow, so a look like this one will keep your colour scheme in check too.

Over and above these outfit ideas we thought we would give you some bonus tips, so here goes:
1. Always use waterproof makeup so in case it drizzles or if you are sweating from dancing, your makeup will stay intact and sweat proof.
2. Oxidized jewellery when worn while sweating can leave toxins and cause rashes on your skin. Simply use the hack of applying transparent nail polish to the back of your jewellery and you will be good to go.
3. Do not fret bling! Navratri is the time when you can go full throttle on bling so if you really like something but think it is too OTT or shiny do not fret and just go for it.
